Double Braided Half & Half
Make the most out of your second-day waves by adding a double braided accent. SEVEN salon Senior Stylist and haircare Flagship Educator Alyssa walks you through this simple, sweet, braided coif.
Prep the hair with DRY SHAMPOO spray and brush thoroughly to distribute. Part down the middle or deep side part depending on how you like your part. Working a nickel sized amount of PUTTY through your hands, work from the front of the hair and pick up three sections. PUTTY will add extra texture and hold to your braids. Braid away from the face, leaving the hair just above the ears loose for a breezy feel. Secure with a clip to the back of the head. Repeat on the opposite side. Spray the hair lightly with CLASSIC Spray to set braids and lightly pull out the braids from bottom to top to make them appear thicker and more voluminous. (HOT TIP: use a rolling motion with your fingers rather than tugging sharply). Releasing the braids from the clips, gather at the back of the head. Create a messy bun by pulling the tail through twice, and secure with an elastic. If your braids or pony are a little too loose for your liking, use a couple of bobby pins to secure the braids to the free falling hair. Spray the hair with BEACH Spray and scrunch loose ends for added texture.
