Directions
Work a generous amount through wet hair, massage from scalp to ends, and rinse. For best results, rotate every other wash with your regular shampoo and conditioner.

If you’re new to the natural curls game, have dry hair, or need to wash more frequently, there’s a good chance that you would benefit from introducing co-washing into your haircare routine.
What is the difference between a co-wash and a shampoo?
A co-wash is a conditioning cleanser that deeply moisturizes hair while gently washing away mild impurities without stripping away natural oils. Shampoos are your traditional cleansers that contain stronger ingredients to remove and dissolve dirt, stubborn product buildup, and oil.
Is it just for curly hair?
Co-wash is recommended for those with curly, dry, or damaged hair that need an extra boost of moisture in between regular washes. However, it’s also great for those who need to wash more frequently due to exercise or profession.
What happens if I use this as my staple cleanser and not as a substitute?
Co-washing works best when alternating use with every other shampoo. If you choose to use it more often, you may find a bit of product buildup. To combat this, we recommend using a clarifying shampoo as needed or once every three to four weeks.
How much should I be using?
Since BALANCE is a non-foaming formula, you should be using more than your traditional shampoos. Squeeze out a generous amount of product, enough to coat the scalp and hair from roots to ends. If necessary, you can apply in sections.
I usually go 3-5 days without washing. Is this cleanser strong enough since it is mostly conditioner?
BALANCE was formulated to act as a conditioner first while gently removing mild impurities from hair, and it’s great for a refresh between washes. You should still incorporate a routine with your regular shampoo to prevent product buildup and more stubborn dirt and impurities.
