We recommend bi-weekly, but it depends on how often you are cleansing and what secondary factors you are dealing with. For infrequent washers, a weekly deep cleanse & hair treatment is in order while some will find that a monthly refresh is all they need.
If you have natural blonde or have gone lighter, CLARIFY is a great brightener and the BOND hair mask is excellent for blonde tresses whether you are natural or lightened. For the perfect cool blonde, alternate your shampoos between CLARIFY and HELIO violet shampoo for optimal color, brightness, and a healthy scalp.
Yes. As a deep cleanser, CLARIFY is excellent for scalp health – this is especially important if you are not a regular washer. That said, even a gentle, sulfate free shampoo that clarifies will be less hydrating than other shampoos. That makes a deep conditioning treatment like BOND hair mask the perfect companion product for curly hair.
Since they are not attached to your head, extensions do not have sebum (the natural oil from your scalp) traveling down the hair shaft to moisturize it. We recommend using CLARIFY only at the scalp and close to where the extensions are attached to get the deep clean you need without drying the extensions. BOND hair mask is excellent for extension care.
Minerals and product buildup dim your color, so CLARIFY can brighten tone by clearing out residues. That said, clarifying shampoos in general take some color along with minerals and other impurities and CLARIFY is no different. If your client just got a vivid, corrective color, or went from blonde to dark, the best time to clarify would be right before they come in for their next color service.
