How often should I use CLARIFY?
We recommend bi-weekly, but it depends on how often you are cleansing and what secondary factors you are dealing with. For infrequent washers, a weekly deep cleanse is in order while some will find that a monthly refresh is all they need.

Is CLARIFY volumizing? Is it a good shampoo for oily hair? 
It is! CLARIFY collects excess oils and rinses them away, perking up hair that was once weighed down by sebum and impurities. This makes it a great choice for male clients and anyone seeking a bit of root boost.  

Will CLARIFY strip my hair color? 
Minerals and product buildup dim your color, so CLARIFY can brighten tone by clearing out residues. That said, clarifying shampoos in general take some color along with minerals and other impurities and CLARIFY is no different. If your client just got a vivid, corrective color, or went from blonde to dark, the best time to clarify would be right before they come in for their next color service.

Is CLARIFY good for blonde hair?
If you have natural blonde or have gone lighter, CLARIFY is a great brightener. Consider alternating your shampoos between CLARIFY and HELIO violet shampoo for optimal color, brightness, and a healthy scalp. 

Is CLARIFY ok for curly hair that tends to be dry?
Yes. As a deep cleanser, CLARIFY is excellent for scalp health – this is especially important if you are not a regular washer. That said, even a gentle, sulfate free shampoo that clarifies will be less hydrating than other shampoos, so you will want to focus CLARIFY at the roots and follow with a deep conditioning treatment like BOND hair mask.

Is CLARIFY good for hard water? 
Yes. CLARIFY acts as a mild chelating agent. The shampoo collects impurities like minerals from hard water, and rinses them from hair.

Is CLARIFY a good shampoo for swimmers? 
Yes. CLARIFY acts as a mild chelating agent. The shampoo collects impurities like chlorine, and easily rinses them from hair.

Is CLARIFY good for dandruff?
While Clarify is not specifically formulated as a dandruff shampoo, Willow Bark treats flakiness and cleanses while rosemary, eucalyptus and sage stimulate scalp for ongoing scalp health.

Is CLARIFY good for extensions? 
Since they are not attached to your head, extensions do not have sebum (the natural oil from your scalp) traveling down the hair shaft to moisturize it. We recommend using CLARIFY only at the scalp and close to where the extensions are attached to get the deep clean you need without drying the extensions.
